Acupuncture & HerbalismAcupuncture entails inserting incredibly fine needles into specific points on the skin to stimulate the body’s own healing response and help restore its natural balance. By harnessing the body’s own ability to cure itself, acupuncture not only heals illnesses but also rebalances the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual. Our acupuncturist
Julia Exposito LicAc, MBAcC also offers 'Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture' (which stimulates the flow of blood and energy to the muscles of the face, increasing its tone and the skin’s elasticity), 'Cupping' (which works similarly to deep tissue massage by promoting the flow of blood and the lymphatic system, and can be used for relieving back and shoulder tension and stiffness; it is also an effective treatment for colds), and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Clinical Ergonomic SurveysClinical Ergonomic Surveys are designed to significantly reduce the incidence of workplace related injuries (e.g. Repetitive Strain Injury) and illness (e.g. back pain) through a comprehensive assessment of an employees working area. A Clinical Ergonomics Consultant is able to assess the unique individual needs of the employee and match those to the ideal workplace environment. Such surveys can significantly reduce an employer’s exposure to injury claims, reduce the level of absenteeism, ensure that Health And Safety investment is effectively targeted and improve employee morale. Surveys are available for single employees or for groups.
